Black Friday Trading

Well today was a Black Friday trading day and the markets were up quite large across the board. I have a feeling this was based on sentiment alone. I don't think there will be any follow through next week, which is why I went with the December $27.50 puts on CSCO and December $49.00 puts on the QQQQ's. I have a feeling that my bet on the QQQQ's will reach its strike price prior to the CSCO puts, due to continued volatility and people locking in year end profits. Rembember December is the time frame mutual funds and money managers/investors begin to reallocate, which can have negative affect on stocks.

On a side note, I'm always looking to expand my blog, so anyone willing to add me to their links or reference some of my posts, well that would be extremely cool!

Hi Justin, just saw your note. I like the clean concise look of your blog. Also, I had the Seahawks vs the Rams today, don't know if you saw that game but it was a gift at the end when the Rams had first and goal with a minute left and could not score. Frerotte fumbled on the last play, I had already given up on the game, lol.

Your 49 Q's puts look like a good bet but I would be sure to lock in any decent gain at thend of any big down day, or use a trailing stop loss. I'm looking for a year end rally of some sort, esp tech.

I'll link you to my blog roll.
