I've put in a bid for Veolia Environment (VE). The market looks to be gapping up on the Citibank news and some President-elect Obama stimulus speech later today. Anyhow, I put my bid a bit higher than Friday's close and will look to slowly build a position in this stock. A bit about this French company is that together with its subsidiaries, provides environmental management services to public authorities, individuals, and industrial and commercial customers worldwide. It operates in four segments: Water, Environmental Services, Energy Services, and Transportation.
This stock does not trade on huge volume, but has a nice dividend and is trading well off its 52-week highs at around $96.00.
